19 Broadway city hall district

The City Hall is located west side 12th Avenue,  designed by architect Fred Townley  and Matheson. The building has a twelve storey tower and a clock on the top.

Lovers by Gerhard Juchum.
In 1973 Vancouver City Hall Art Committee approved the statue for placement at city hall. It can be seen on the west lawn of Vancouver's City Hall. The artist was dead in an accident in 1977.

98 meters above the sea level, close to Mt. Pleasant, Broadway City Hall deserves a good view of the downtown.

Beautiful and quiet streets.
Wood houses if big enough are some times shared by more than one family.
Middle class district.

Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver’s horticultural jewel, is a major draw for floral display enthusiasts and view-seekers.

Formerly it was a pit to take out earth for builders.

At 152 metres above sea level, it’s the highest point in Vancouver and makes for spectacular views of the park, city, and mountains on the North Shore.
