The City Hall is located west side 12th Avenue, designed by architect
Fred Townley and Matheson. The
building has a twelve storey tower and a clock on the top.

In 1973 Vancouver City Hall Art Committee approved the statue for placement at city hall. It can be seen on the west lawn of Vancouver's City Hall. The artist was dead in an accident in 1977.
98 meters above the sea level, close to Mt. Pleasant, Broadway City Hall deserves a good view of the downtown.

Formerly it was a pit to take out earth for builders.
At 152 metres above sea level, it’s the highest point in Vancouver and makes for spectacular views of the park, city, and mountains on the North Shore.
